The times have changed since he came back from Oblivion and raised above the Hualâl, the devoted stones, to say his name: Nabu. Everything has changed but it all stays the same: gods live and die, worshipers drag themselves looking to be worthy of the grace of the new Gods, the Bhurru whip themselves incessantly... and Gidru remains a place full of forgotten dangers.
Everything we go through: what we do and what we don't, what we say and what we hide; absolutely everything leaves the mark of our way in the world. Even if we cannot remember. That is our legacy, our Sorunne, and we must accept it or be devoured by her.
BACKER EXCLUSIVE BONUS
We want to reward everyone that supports SORUNNE II in a special and exclusive manner. Everyone that backs the comic and gets one of the rewards will receive FOR FREE the following bonuses (valued at 12€):
-Booklet with the complete STORYBOARD of SORUNNE II, in black and white, size 17x24 cm.
-Booklet with THE PILGRIM'S NOTEBOOK, in black and white, size 17x24 cm.
Prayers, notes, meditations, studies on the flora, fauna, and customs of Gidru, about their gods and Oblivion. The pilgrim documented, like a travel journal, everything he observed, but also everything that took him to take the path to find what he called God.
Through these snippets, we can discover the inner world of the Pilgrim and the outer world he explored: Gidru.
ALSO AVAILABLE THE FIRST VOLUME OF SORUNNE
Gidru is the center, the place where everything that was forgotten comes to meet. But don´t you try to remember, after all, we are made of oblivion, and here the names name nothing no more.
Allow me to tell you the story. Though I must warn you: no one is the protagonist, and to be able to finish the tale, I might have to speak about Kuddra, who keeps the order in this world, about the pilgrim that searches the inexistent, and the Bhurru that found a purpose.
It´s also necessary that you learn about the Sorunne, the five sacred laws given by Arduk, the first God, that give sense and order to all things:
-Do not read any written words whatsoever.
-Do not break iddâk idols nor damage their nails.
-Do not carve masks from the knots of the Tree of the Dead.
-Do not eat Duiya flowers.
-Do not call yourself by the old names.
Even if we both know nothing I just said will remain in your head, let me tell you, as some of us protect the memory so we can share it and it´s never lost.
FORECAST OF DEVELOPMENT AND CONDITIONS OF THE CAMPAIGN:
GENERAL
We know the kind of effort it takes to do a good job, and both the author and Spaceman Project are prepared. We love this medium and we want to take it to another level where the readers, authors, and booksellers are the protagonists. It is because of that that we have taken the small details into account and adjusted the fundraising goal for what we’re offering.
This is an all-or-nothing campaign model. In order for the project to become a reality, we need to reach 100% of the goal. The length of the campaign will last 30 days but can be extended by 7 more days if the project reaches 50% of its goal before the end of the month. As the publisher, Spaceman Project, can make contributions to the campaign to boost or complete the goal at its own discretion. As is customary, an announcement will be made public if this happens.
COSTS INCLUDED IN THE CAMPAIGN
Authors / Cost to create
Platform / Creation, management, and Crowdfunding collection management.
DEVELOPMENT PIPELINE
Author / 15-18 months after the end of the campaign. *
Editing / 3 months of editing after the author’s final delivery.
Printing / 5 to 10 weeks for printing.
Deliveries / it will take between 2 and 6 weeks after the books have been received to be sent to the backers.
*Spaceman Project is not responsible for delays in the creation as this is the author’s commitment to the backers. In the case that the work is not finished, the author is directly responsible for refunding the backers.
All illustrations presented in this campaign are provisional and are subject to change once the goal has been reached, and work on the project commences. This is only applicable to the cover images for the most part, not to the story, the format of the work, nor the rewards being offered. Obviously, we are presenting a work that is in progress and under development. Creativity has no limits and we are confident that we will not stop improving, and as such, we have made a commitment to quality with our readers.
While the project is being created, the authors are responsible for issuing updates and keeping the backers informed. Once the materials have been delivered to Spaceman, the publisher will be in charge of informing the backers about each of the next steps (Editing/ Production/ Warehouse arrival/ shipment of packages).
